$16,000 Matching Goal
in Sight; Additional Challenge Offered
In February, a generous township family donated $16,000 to the LTEF
Playground Fund. They then challenged the community to raise $16,000
on our own, promising an additional $16,000 if that challenge was
met. To date, we have raised $14,502.75 toward that $16,000 goal.
With just under $1,500.00 to go… we are close to meeting this first
challenge goal well before the target date of April 10, 2008, which
coincides with Valley View Spring Open House.
Now, another community-minded family has stepped forward to challenge
us yet again. This generous family has offered to match anything
we raise over our initial $16,000 goal… up to $4,000. The LTEF and
the members of its Playground Committee are confident that, with
your continued support, we will meet our first matching goal and
be able to take advantage of this additional opportunity.
